Berkeley Contract Packaging has over eight years experience in managing and operating the complete packaging operation of two major customer distribution facilities. Annual savings to the customer are in the 18 – 20% range. We supply the management and labor and add any equipment that will further enhance productivity. In addition to the significant cost savings, some of the other advantages include:

• Quick turnaround on late programs thus preventing missed in-store dates
• Elimination of having to pay personnel during slow periods

- OPERATING PRODUCTION 4 DAYS A WEEK - 10 HOUR SHIFTS
In the production world, overall daily productivity rates are generally diminished as a result of starting up in the morning and stopping and starting for breaks and/or lunch. By operating 4 days a week for 10 hours, Berkeley eliminates this loss on the fifth day. The extra two hours apportioned to each day are pure production with no down time. This maximizes our production rates and also leaves the fifth day available for overtime, if required. All other departments are fully operational on this fifth day, including shipping and receiving.
- ATTAINMENT RATE BETWEEN 95% - 100%
This is the measurement of actual production vs. planned production.
- KEY PERFORMANCE INDEXES (KPI)
For annual contracts, together, we establish both monthly and yearly performance goals so that we can be measured against the agreed upon goals.

We will gladly purchase components for you so that you will only have to issue one purchase order for the entire project.
